AWESOME NEWS! Kosher Pig is set to screen at the ITV Fest August 8th and has picked up two nominations as well! One for BEST DIRECTOR (Go Eric Patton!!!) and one for BEST ACTRESS in Comedy (who me?!) WELL COLOR ME HAPPY!!! THANK YOU!!! :*) So excited that Kosher Pig is continuing to take the festival circuit by storm! Keep flyin' high Kosher Piggy!!! FLY FLY FLY!!!!!! X♥X♥X!!!

Everything, Almost Wraps!!!

WE DID IT!!! Our heartbreaking short film Everything, Almost is officially wrapped! This was my first time producing and oh what FUN!!! A huge THANK YOU to the cast and crew for such an AWESOME shoot and to all of YOU who have supported us on this incredible journey!!! Day 1 found us battling freezing temperatures and biting winds up on the high bluff but we endured and captured amazing shots!!! Day 2 found us in better conditions down on the beach where we worked like crazy and laughed ourselves silly! Our song of the day was Jack Sparrow featuring Michael Bolton! Thank you to The Lonely Island for such an inspiring song which provided endless merriment to our cast and crew...I refuse to admit how many times this song was played! ;) The shots were GORGEOUS thanks to our amazing director Alex O. Gaynor whose work is just breathtakingly oh so beautiful! The performances by our lead actors Jeannie Bolét and Brahm Gallagher were outstanding! Truly a joy to watch!!! A massive thank you to our small but mighty crew Jeremy Rush and Adam Douglass who walked countless miles and braved the elements...including a "bag of ticks"! (A brave soul you are Jeremy!) And last but not least...THANK YOU to all our Kickstarter supporters and our dear friends and family who have showered us with love and support along the way! We could not have done it without you!!! With a lot of heart and a lot of hard work, the Everything, Almost team has captured something truly special!!! We can not wait to share it with you all!!! Updates on post production soon to follow! Action Figures combines the smart, fast comedic pace of Sports Night with an integrated use of stop motion toys to create the fantastical settings of the company’s toy lines. The characters occasionally enter fictional toy worlds to make sense of their inner lives! Action Figures : Family Dysfunction, Corporate Politics and the Child in All of Us

Susane is thrilled to launch her production company Argon Entertainment! Susane will be co-producing EVERYTHING, ALMOST, a narrative short film written by Jeannie Bolét and directed by Alex O. Gaynor (Wid Winner & the Slipstream). The story was inspired by Bolét's feature length screenplay, BEARCAT, a finalist in 2010's Slamdance festival and Writemovies Screenwriting contest.

EVERYTHING, ALMOST: a heartbreaking tale of a girl, a guy, and a beta fish embarking on a day trip that will ultimately mark the end of an era and a love that was just never meant to be.

Susane is thrilled to have recorded Tamora Pierce's short story HUNTRESS over at Random House's Books on Tape!It was such an incredible experience - nothing like sittin' in the booth and bringin' a story to life! Much love and thanks to Dan Musselman, for thinking of me for this project, and to his lovely staff! And with this first memorable experience...the journey begins!!!

Susane is excited to be a part of the staged reading for Gene Lee's WE USED TO TOAST THE DREAMERS, NOW WE JUST DRINK, a work in progress from the David Henry Hwang Writers Institute at EAST WEST PLAYERS! Woohoo! Just completed work on the pilot episode for Action Figures, a web series, and what will hopefully become a hit new show on TV!  I had a BLASTTTT playing April Lee, Head of Boys' Development at Newbie Toys!  What an AWESOME cast and crew!!! Great News Everyone!!! KOSHER PIG has been accepted into the Beverly Hills Film, TV, and New Media Festival and Philadelphia Asian Film Festival!!! Kosher Pig screens at the Laemmle Music Hall (9036 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, CA 90211) on Monday, October 25th at 7:15pm! Kosher Pig screens in Philadelphia as part of the Shorts Program 2: Visions on Sat., Oct. 23rd @ 1pm at the Asian Arts Initiative (1219 Vine Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107)!If you haven't had a chance to watch it yet...WATCH KOSHER PIG!!!
